Sgt. Kyle B. Stout, 25, of Texarkana, Texas 

Killed in Action July 30th, Kandahar, Afghanistan

His family has requested that the Patriot Guard Riders be present to accompany Sgt. Stout home on Thursday 08/05 and his services on Saturday 08/07.

 The Missions are a 'go' and all contacts have been made.

DOD Identifies Army Casualty

              The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Enduring Freedom.

              Sgt. Kyle B. Stout, 25, of Texarkana, Texas, died July 30 in Kandahar, Afghanistan, of injuries sustained when insurgents attacked his unit with an improvised explosive device.  He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 320th Field Artillery Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), Fort Campbell, Ky.

Fort Campbell, KY — A 101st Airborne Division Soldier died July 30th when an improvised explosive device exploded near a security checkpoint in Kandahar Province, Afghanistan.

Sgt. Kyle B. Stout, 25, of Texarkana, Texas, was a cannon crewmember (artilleryman) assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Battery, 1st Battalion, 320th Field Artillery Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team. He entered the Army in July 2006 and arrived at Fort Campbell in November
2006.

Stout’s awards and decorations include: Army Commendation Medal; Army Achievement Medal; Army Good Conduct Medal; National Defense Service Medal; Iraq Campaign Medal; Global War on Terrorism Service Medal; Non-Commissioned Officer Professional Development Ribbon; Army Service Ribbon; Overseas Service Ribbon; Air Assault Badge; Driver and Mechanic Badge – Wheeled Vehicle and Weapons Qualification: M4, expert.

Stout is survived by his parents, Billy M. and Robin C. Stout of Wake Village, Texas.

Sgt. Stout is due to arrive at Texarkana Regional Airport at 10:45  tomorrow Thursday Aug. 5th 2010   Staging will be at 9:30 with riders meeting at 9:45

The funeral is to be held at Chapelwood Funeral home at 10:00 AM Saturday Aug 7th 2010 

Staging is at the funeral home at 8:30 with riders meeting to begin at 8:45 and flag line to be in place by 9:00
